Nitish gears up for 2024

Let us inform that Nitish Kumar has started trying to build opposition unity across the country before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Accusing the BJP of doing divisive politics, he asked people to beware of attempts to pit one community against another.

Referring to his strong ties with JP, Nitish said he was part of a 14-member committee of student activists that spearheaded the 1974 agitation and those sent to jail during the Emergency.

Earlier on Tuesday, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan, in Sitabdiara, Amit Shah said that Narendra Modi's government is determined to carry forward the principles of JP's village upliftment, cooperative and Sarvodaya. Taking a jibe at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he had said, there are many people of JP movement who kept taking the name of JP and Lohia ji whole life, but today they are sitting in the lap of Congress for power.

He had said, JP fought for the principles, not for power throughout his life, but people who came to politics by taking his name, people who switched sides for power five-five times have become the Chief Minister of Bihar.
