Road Accident In Basti / Three CRPF jawans returning from election duty die, driver's condition critical

Three CRPF personnel, who were returning from duty in Kaptanganj assembly constituency of Basti district of Uttar Pradesh, died in an accident near Khajoula of Munderwa police station on the fourlane late at 12 o'clock in the night. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the forces of other police stations including SP Ashish Srivastava, ASP Deependra Nath Chaudhary, Munderwa and Purani Basti reached the spot.

According to the police, CRPF company personnel from Chhattisgarh had come to Basti as part of polling duty. His duty was engaged in Kaptanganj assembly. These people left for Gorakhpur late at night from Bolero after the polling was over.

It is being told that a truck hit the vehicle near Khajoula outpost under Munderwa police station on Basti-Gorakhpur fourlane. The jawans traveling in the Bolero were seriously injured in the accident. In which 3 soldiers died, while the condition of the driver remains critical. According to the police, the identity of the deceased jawans is being ascertained.
