Jagdeep Dhankhar has been nominated by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the Vice Presidential election. However, the ruling Trinamool Congress party in West Bengal has given a special reaction to this decision of the BJP. On one hand, TMC has breathed a sigh of relief. He also said that Dhankhar has got the reward of creating trouble for the Bengal government. The opposition has made Margaret Alva the joint candidate against him.

TMC defaming Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Dhankhar Senior leader and TMC MP Saugata Roy said, 'Jagdeep Dhankhar was an element of trouble and trouble for the West Bengal administration. Dhankhar's nomination is a reward for making the life of the Bengal government sad. We are relieved that he has been nominated as the Vice President.

Talking to Economic Times, TMC spokesperson and senior minister Chandrima Bhattacharya said, "Dhankhar has worked as a spokesperson of the BJP. His performance as a BJP spokesperson has been excellent and hence he has got the award. The special thing is that there have been reports of tension between the West Bengal government and Dhankhar as governor.

Can file nomination today

Dhankhar may file nomination for the Vice Presidential election on Monday. According to the language, Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress Party will support Dhankhar in the Vice Presidential election on Sunday. A party leader gave this information on Sunday. Apart from this, AIADMK and BJD have also announced the support of the NDA candidate.
