Rozgar Mela: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters in the Rozgar Mela today to more than 1 lakh candidates appointed in various departments of the Central Government. On this occasion, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the first phase of the integrated complex Karmayogi Bhawan. This campus will promote collaboration and synergy between different levels of Mission Karmayogi.

PMO issued statement

Recently, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement that Prime Minister Modi will distribute appointment letters to more than 1 lakh newly appointed candidates through video conference on February 12 at 10:30 am. This employment fair will be organized at 47 places in the country.

Employment creation is the top priority

The statement further said that the job fair is a step towards fulfilling the PM's commitment to give top priority to employment generation in the country. The fair is expected to promote employment generation and provide opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in development.

Appointment in these ministries

These new recruitments have been made in many other ministries and departments like Revenue Department, Home Ministry, Higher Education Department, Department of Atomic Energy, Defense Ministry, Department of Financial Services, Health Ministry, Family Welfare, Tribal Affairs Ministry and Railway Ministry.

More than 880 e-learning courses available

Newly recruited employees are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through an online module 'Karmayogi Pramada' on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. Which is an online orientation course for all newly appointed personnel in various government departments. More than 880 e-learning courses have been made available on the portal to learn Karmayogi initially.
