Maharashtra. A big political development has happened in Maharashtra. The Uddhav Thackeray faction has suffered a major setback in the Maharashtra Legislative Council. Shiv Sena of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde (CM Eknath Shinde) faction will now have control over the Legislative Council. CM Shinde has written a letter in this regard to the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council, Neelam Gore on Monday. In it, it has been decided to appoint Viplav Bajoria, MLC of the Uddhav faction, as its chief whip in the Legislative Council. Now Viplav Shinde has jumped into the faction. Presently, Anil Parab is the Chief Whip of the Shiv Sena in the Legislative Council.

According to the news published in ToI, on this matter, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council Neelam Gore says that Shiv Sena has decided to appoint MLC Viplav Bajoria (36) as its chief whip in the Legislative Council. Gore, however, said on Tuesday that no decision has been taken on the letter yet. I have received a letter to appoint Bajoria as the whip of his party. However, no decision has been taken on this yet.

Let us tell you that for the first time after Shiv Sena's 40 MLAs and 13 MPs broke away from Uddhav Thackeray and joined Chief Minister Eknath Shinde last year, a member of the Legislative Council (MLC) from Shiv Sena (UBT) defected to the rebel camp. Switched.

The move is being seen as an attempt to counter the Shiv Sena (UBT) in the Legislative Council where the Shiv Sena-BJP government does not have a majority. In all, the Legislative Council has 78 members. Till now, the Shiv Sena (UBT) had 11 members and the post of Leader of the Opposition in the Council. With Bajoria joining the Shinde faction, the Shiv Sena (UBT) is left with 10 MLCs. Currently, Anil Parab is the Chief Whip of the Shiv Sena in the Legislative Council and the party's MLCs are bound to obey his whip in the House.

On this decision, MLC Viplav Bajoria said that CM Eknath Shinde will make every effort to live up to the trust reposed in him. He has been given a huge responsibility. He also said that the Election Commission has given a clear order to allot the name and symbol of the Shiv Sena party to the Shinde faction. The Army (UBT) is also in full agreement with this order. He said that he will issue whip in the Council under all those rules which will be decided by the party. There is no pressure on me in any way.

Gore, the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council, says that she has received a letter on which a decision is yet to be taken. He said that further decision will be taken in this context only after following the orders of the Supreme Court. This matter is still being examined. After this a decision will be taken.
