Saddam Arrested: Mafia Atiq Ahmed's brother-in-law has been arrested by UP STF. Ashraf Ahmed's brother-in-law Saddam has been arrested from Malviya Nagar, Delhi in the Umesh Pal murder case. There was a reward of one lakh rupees on Saddam. He was going to meet his girlfriend Anam when UP STF arrested him. He was absconding after the murder of Umesh Pal. Returned to India after staying in Dubai for a few months. Saddam was hiding in Delhi. He was associated with Atiq Ahmed gang. Saddam, along with his brother-in-law Ashraf, used to take over illegal lands and make threats. When Ashraf was lodged in Bareilly jail, it was Saddam who made Ashraf meet people in the jail.

Saddam was living by changing his name to avoid arrest

Saddam went underground after the Umesh Pal massacre. According to the police, Saddam was hiding in Karnataka, Mumbai and Delhi by changing his name to avoid the police. On interrogation, accused Saddam told that he was changing places in Delhi, Karnataka and Mumbai to avoid his arrest. In the FIR registered by Uttar Pradesh Police, it has been said that he was going to meet his girlfriend today. His girlfriend's name, according to the FIR, is Anam. Earlier he was living in Khushboo Enclave in Bareilly.

Saddam used to handle the business of disputed lands of Ashraf Ahmed

During Ashraf Ahmed's stay in jail, he used to provide him logistics in the jail. For this he had colluded with the jail officials. Saddam used to handle all the outside work during Ashraf's stay in jail. Saddam was responsible for everything from land dealing to transportation of money. During police interrogation, Saddam has revealed some other names who were involved with him in the disputed land business. According to the FIR, people like Lalla Gaddi Nazish, Syed Saheb Furkan along with Saddam used to earn money by interfering in the disputed lands.

Videos of illegal meeting with Ashraf in jail were revealed

Apart from this, several videos of Ashraf in connection with his illegal meeting in jail were also circulated on the internet media. His name came to light after the Umesh Pal murder case. A joint team of STF and police is interrogating Saddam. He will be presented in court and sent to jail. It is believed that many secrets of Ashraf and Atiq Ahmed can be revealed from Saddam.
