IPL 2021 | Devdutt Padikkal scored a century against Rajasthan Royals in the 16th match of IPL 2021. His unbeaten 101-run knock helped Royal Challengers Bangalore win the match by 10 wickets. RCB captain Virat Kohli revealed that when Devdutt Padikkal was close to his century, he told me not to worry about his century. Devdutt Padikkal completed his century in 51 balls. This is his first century in the IPL. He and Virat Kohli shared an unbeaten 181-run partnership for the first wicket. Kohli scored an unbeaten 72 runs.

Kohli told after the match was over that when Padikkal was nearing his century. Then he told me that you play your shots, chase the target, do not care about his century because there are many more good innings left. Padikkal scored the most runs for RCB in IPL 2020. With this, Kohli said that those who were questioning Padikkal would shut their mouths of such critics. Kohli further said that it was a great innings. He batted excellently last season.
