Up election 2022 | The Samajwadi Party had lost many of its strong base seats to the BJP last time. This time the vote percentage has largely increased in these seats. So is the increased vote percentage a sign of the SP's growth or the BJP's. Or whether it can make any other team the winner is hard to say. But one thing is certain that due to the increase in vote percentage, both BJP and SP are considering it as a good sign for themselves.

Experts say that where the decision of winning the victory was taken with very less votes last time, the result may be affected due to increase in vote percentage. The SP failed to save the seats from its old support base last time. Even if the vote percentage decreases, in whose favor the equation will go, it can only be guessed. Meerapur assembly seat of Muzaffarnagar is discussed enough if seats with less difference. In the last election here, BJP's Avtar Singh Bhadana defeated Samajwadi Party by a margin of just 193 votes. Here last time 69.39 percent votes were cast, while this time this figure has come down to 68.65 percent. There is a lot of discussion in that area on who will be harmed by the decrease in voting.

In fact, in the 2017 assembly elections, there were 17 such seats where the margin of victory and defeat was less than two thousand. In these seven seats, the SP was at number two.
