Recently, in the first reshuffle of the second term of the Narendra Modi government, the Railway Minister was also changed. Ashwini Vaishnav has been made the new Railway Minister of the country. He first changed office hours as soon as he took over in the ministry. During this, the meeting of the Railway Minister with an engineer has become a matter of discussion.

New Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Friday met an engineer of the Signal Department in the Railways, the video of which has gone viral. One of the engineers of the department told that he is from the same college in which the Railway Minister studied. On this the Railway Minister said- 'Come hugs.'

Railway Minister Vaishnav also said, 'Boss speaks to junior seniors not sir in our college. So you will call me boss…?'

Former bureaucrat Ashwini Vaishnav has studied engineering college (Mugniram Bangur Memorial Engineering College, MBM) from M.B.M in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. During this, he also told the staff that they would work like home. Have fun, will do it.

Born in Jodhpur, 51-year-old Vaishnav is a 1994 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Odisha cadre.

Earlier, as soon as he took office, the Railway Minister first changed the office timings. According to the new order, now the officers and employees of the Ministry of Railways will have to work in two shifts. According to the order issued by the Railway Minister's office, the first shift will start from 7 am and end at 4 pm. So at the same time, the second shift will start at 3 pm and will go on till 12 at night.

One of the most important ministries of the country, the responsibility of the Ministry of Railways has been given to Ashwini Vaishnav. Along with this, he has also been given the charge of the Ministry of IT and Communications. Prior to this, the responsibility of the Ministry of Railways was with Piyush Goyal. Now he has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Textiles. Before him, this ministry was with Smriti Irani.
