Bollywood desk: Actor Sunny Deol, who recently turned BJP MP from the Gurdaspur constituency, has signed on a new film. The actor has been busy with creating just the perfect launchpad for his son Karan Deol and now, he has decided to move on to make a comeback on screen. He will be seen in a fresh action film directed by popular South Indian movie director Hanu Raghavapudi. Sunny confirmed the news to Mid-Day and mentioned that his film is not a remake and he is quite excited about the new project.

The Gadar star is often criticised for being frequently ‘absent’ from the parliament. The posters of the actor that read ‘Missing MP Sunny Deol’ were put up at the Pathankot railway station citing his unavailability in the parliament meetings. Sunny doesn’t think that this new film is going to make managing time for the constituency any difficult for him. While talking to the daily, he mentioned that he will be dividing his time ‘equally between both.’ The actor said when he is not present in his constituency, he makes sure that he has all the information and updates about how the operations are being done there.

Sunny recently revealed that he had ‘appointed his personal assistant’ in Gurdaspur to ensure a ‘smooth flow of work.’ The actor seems committed to the same. He was quoted saying, “I will divide my time equally between both. Even if I am not in my constituency, I ensure that I keep myself up-to-date about what is happening there. I give my attention whenever needed.”

The yet-to-be-titled film is ‘loaded with action and suspense.’ The actor talked about it and mentioned that his role in the film requires him to ‘put in the extra effort.’ The film is going to be heavy on action and will feature Sunny in his ever-so-famous desi avatar.
