In Afghanistan's Balkh province, the Taliban have banned ordinary women's bathrooms. This new rule has been implemented regarding women in the province adjacent to Uzbekistan. This decision has been taken unanimously by the officials and scholars of the province. According to the report of Khama Press, women will no longer be able to take bath in public bathrooms. She will be able to take a bath in her private bathroom and will have to wear an Islamic hijab during this time. The head of the Directorate of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice said that this decision has been taken after talks with the Ulemas.

Ban on body massage

"Since people do not have modern bathrooms in their homes, men are allowed to go to normal bathrooms, but women should wear hijab and go to private bathrooms," the chief said. According to the report, underage boys have also been banned from going to the normal bathroom. Apart from this, a ban has also been imposed on boys regarding body massage.

Two women cannot sit in the front seat of the car

Earlier, local authorities in western Herat province temporarily closed the general women's bathroom. The Ministry of Promotion and Prevention of Vice limited women's travel across the country to 45 miles and recommended drivers not let two women sit in the front seat of their cars.
