WPL 2024: The date of Tata Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction has been announced. This time the auction of players for the Women's Premier League will be held on December 9 in Mumbai. Let us tell you that for the next season of the league, five franchises have retained 60 players, which also includes 21 foreign players. At the same time, 29 players were released from their current team.

WPL is special in many ways

The Women's Premier League was started in the year 2023. This league, started on the lines of IPL, is the first league in the world in which the auction of women players was held. The biggest feature of the Women's Premier League was that many big players from all over the world participated in the very first season of this league. Mumbai Indians team was successful in winning the title of the first season of Women's IPL. In the final it defeated Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets.
