A violent incident unfolded in Jaipur on Friday morning when workers of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) were allegedly attacked during a visit to a government school. The incident took place around 10 AM in the Rampura-Kanwarpura village of the Bagru area. CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka, along with several volunteers, had reached the Government Primary School for an inspection when they were confronted by a group of villagers, while the confrontation quickly escalated into violence as the workers were beaten and chased away from the premises. The attackers also resorted to stone-pelting, targeting the vehicles of the CJP officials.

Details of the Assault and Damage

According to reports from the site, the attackers caused significant damage to the CJP team's transport, while the windows of their cars were shattered during the stone-pelting. CJP founder and convenor Abhijeet Dipke claimed that one of their volunteers sustained injuries during the chaos. Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka shared details of the ordeal on social media, alleging that the mob not only physically assaulted them but also tore their clothes. He described the scene as a direct display of hooliganism that occurred in broad daylight.

CJP Accuses BJP and Education Minister

Following the attack, CJP leaders pointed fingers directly at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Abhijeet Dipke alleged that the attackers were BJP workers and that the Rajasthan government was trying to suppress efforts to expose its failures. Ashutosh Ranka went a step further, claiming that the entire incident was orchestrated at the behest of Education Minister Madan Dilawar. " He has issued a 48 hour ultimatum to the authorities, demanding the arrest of the attackers and the withdrawal of the order that prohibits school inspections. He warned of a statewide protest and demanded the resignation of Minister Dilawar if these demands aren't met.

Claims Regarding School Conditions

The CJP team stated that their visit was prompted by reports that the government school in Rampura-Kanwarpura has been operating out of a buffalo stable for several years. Dipke mentioned that the team went there to verify the actual condition of the school and bring the truth to the public. He argued that the attack reflects the BJP's fear that if the condition of schools for poor children improves and they receive better facilities, people will start questioning the government. He emphasized that the lack of basic amenities like drinking water and toilets in government schools should be a matter of concern for those in power.

Government Rebuttal and Congress Connection

On the other hand, the Rajasthan government has dismissed the CJP's allegations. Speaking in the Assembly, Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham countered the claims by suggesting a conspiracy involving the Congress party, while bedham stated that Congress workers are wearing the mask of the CJP and orchestrating attacks on themselves to create such situations. He accused the Congress of trying to distract the public and failing to focus on matters of public interest, while bedham also alleged that the Congress was intentionally disrupting the proceedings of the House and stated that the public would give a fitting reply to such tactics.

CJP Vows to Continue Protests

Despite the violence and political pressure, the Cockroach Janta Party has maintained that it will continue to raise its voice for better facilities in government schools and a brighter future for poor children, while dipke asserted that the team wouldn't back down from their demands for improving the state of education. The party maintains that the attack was a desperate attempt to silence those who highlight the struggles of students forced to study in pathetic conditions.
