The protest against increasing the ticket rate of Taj Mahal will not guide. This has been agreed in a meeting chaired by Commissioner Amit Gupta at the ADA office on Saturday. The ticket for domestic tourist will increase from Rs 10 to Rs 60 instead of Rs 50. The ticket rate for foreign tourists will increase from Rs 100 to Rs 1450 instead of Rs 1350.

The commissioner held a meeting with the guides and representatives of tourism related organizations at the Development Authority office located at Jaipur House. ADA Vice President Dr. Rajendra Pansia, Archaeological Survey of India and Tourism Department officials were present. In the meeting, it was agreed to send a proposal to increase the ticket rate of Taj Mahal to the government. Even the organizations related to tourism will not oppose it. Last time there was fierce opposition to increase the ticket, due to which the decision to increase the ticket was postponed.

Filed these complaints

Tourist Guide Welfare Association President Deepak Dan said that a complaint was made in the meeting that the Shilpgram parking was not opened on time. Parking opened at 6.15 am on Saturday while tourists arrived at 5.30 am. The commissioner has sought a written complaint in this regard. At the same time, there were complaints about VIP tourists roaming the Taj Mahal by the laps. In this regard, the commissioner has ordered an inquiry.

In the meeting, it was decided to have Bhajan Sandhya in Fatehpur Sikri on 18th April on World Heritage Day. ADA and ASI will conduct Bhajan Sandhya. In this, Bhajan Samrat Anoop Jalota will shed devotional stream. ADA Vice President Dr. Rajendra Pansia told that from 6:30 pm on Monday, group presentation of Odissi dance with Sufi Kalam will be held at Anoop Talab in Sikri. Ghazal singer Sudhir Narayan will present Sufi Kalam in the Amrit Mahotsav year of independence. Madhumita Raut will perform Odissi dance. After this, the tunes of Bhajan Emperor Anoop Jalota will resonate.

ADA office inspected

In the meeting, emphasis was laid on promoting Taj View Point of ADA, while tourists can roam here for night stay. The commissioner gave directions for disposal of Shastripuram Heights, ADA Heights properties and rented properties. He has asked for action in view of the restrictions of TTZ on the city development plan being built on the lines of Ayodhya.
