Major administrative reshuffle in UP / 14 IAS officers transferred, DMs of six districts changed, see list

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made the first major administrative reshuffle after midnight on Thursday after assuming power for the second innings. District Magistrates of Meerut, Sambhal, Siddharthnagar, Kanpur Dehat, Deoria and Rae Bareli have been changed.

Sources said that the district magistrates of Meerut, Deoria and Rae Bareli have been removed and made waiting. While in many districts the DM has been given the command of another district as well. District Magistrate of Siddharth Nagar Deepak Meena has been made District Magistrate of Meerut and Sambhal District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan has been made District Magistrate Siddharthnagar.

Municipal Commissioner Meerut Manish Bansal has been sent to the post of DM Sambhal. Deoria DM Ashutosh Niranjan has been removed and made waiting. Kanpur Dehat District Magistrate JP Singh has been made the DM of Deoria. Neha Jain will be the District Magistrate Kanpur Dehat.

District Magistrate Meerut Balaji has been waiting. Special Secretary Housing Mala Srivastava has been made District Magistrate Rae Bareli. District Magistrate Rae Bareli Vaibhav Srivastava has been waiting.

Balkar Singh, who returned from deputation, has been made MD Jal Nigam (Rural). Anurag Yadav has been shifted from Secretary Urban Development and given the responsibility of Secretary Agriculture. Sameer Verma, Secretary Public Works has been replaced as Secretary Social Welfare.

Additional chief secretary planning and program implementation charge has been taken from Suresh Chandra. Chandra will continue as Additional Chief Secretary, Labour. The special thing is that the government has not issued these transfers officially. However, this information has been shared by the districts and transferred officials.

Secretary Chief Minister Alok has the responsibility of taking the economy to 10 trillion dollars

Chief Minister's secretary Alok Kumar (III) has been given important responsibility. Alok Kumar has been made the nodal officer for the $10 trillion economy along with giving full charge of secretary planning and program implementation. The Yogi government has pledged to take the country's economy to this challenging goal in the next 5 years.
