WPL 2024: The player auction for Tata Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 will be held on December 9 in Mumbai. Let us tell you that for the next season of the league, five franchises have retained 60 players, which also includes 21 foreign players. Now all the franchises will complete their teams through auction. This time the fate of a total of 165 players will be decided in the auction.

WPL 2024 auction list released

165 players have been included in the auction for the next season of the Women's Premier League. Out of 165 players included in the auction list, 104 players are Indian and 61 players are foreign. Out of these 61 players, 15 are from associate countries. At the same time, there are only 56 players in this list who have played international matches. At the same time, 109 players are uncapped.

5 Teams have 30 slots vacant

In the Women's Premier League, each team can have a maximum of 18 players. The maximum limit of foreign players is 6. In such a situation, now these franchises have only 30 slots vacant for the auction to be held next week. Of these, only 9 slots are for foreign players. Talking about the base price, the base price of the players included in the auction ranges from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.

Two players in base price of Rs 50 lakh

Only Deandra Dottin and Kim Garth are included in the base price of Rs 50 lakh. At the same time, four players have been kept at the base price of Rs 40 lakh. Apart from this, the base price of all the players ranges from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 30 lakh.
