66 years old record broken

With 578 runs, Nehal has become the batsman to play the biggest innings in a Punjab cricket match. Before him, this record was in the name of Chaman Malhotra. At the same time, Nehal has become the batsman to play the biggest innings in the world at number three. In this match, Nehal batted at a strike rate of more than 139. During this he scored the fastest 200, 300, 400 and 500 runs.

Was a member of India's Under-19 team

Nehal has also played Under-19 cricket for India. On the tour of Sri Lanka in July 2018, he had scored two half-centuries, which included an innings of 81 runs. He did this feat in his first Under-19 international match. At the same time, during the Cooch Behar Trophy in 2017-18, he scored 540 runs with six half-centuries. Nehal was also called for the trial by the Rajasthan team. Although he did not get selected in the mega auction, his batting has flourished by spending time with Kumar Sangakkara. He is the third player from Ludhiana to have played cricket for India at any level. Yashpal Sharma and Gagandeep Singh have played for India before him.

Amazing with both ball and bat

Wadhera showed a great game in the match against Kapurthala. He took three wickets after playing an unbeaten innings of 151 runs and led his team to victory and reached the semi-finals. After this he played a historic innings of 578 runs. A few months back, he broke the record of Shikhar Dhawan and Lalit Yadav by scoring 171 runs. There is a glimpse of Yuvraj in Wadhera's batting.
