With only a few days left for the presidential election, National Democratic Alliance candidate Draupadi Murmu is getting strong support from the parties. Recently Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has also announced to support Murmu. Now in the current political situation, there is a possibility of injury to many alliances in the war of opposition vs NDA regarding the presidential candidate. From Maharashtra to Jharkhand, the opinion of many major parties is different from that of their allies. The special thing is that if there is a rift in the alliances regarding support, then the Congress can suffer the most.

Jharkhand

Jharkhand has a coalition government of JMM, Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal. It is headed by JMM. The special thing is that there have been reports of tension with the 30-seat JMM of the Congress, which won 18 seats in Jharkhand of 81 seats. It can be traced back to the Rajya Sabha elections, where the party reportedly ignored Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi's request to field a joint candidate. The party had nominated Mahua Manjhi as its candidate.

Now the gap between the two parties can also increase regarding support in the presidential election. Another opposition party's candidate Yashwant Sinha has in support of the Congress. At the same time, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has now come with Murmu. CM's father Shibu Sorene wrote in the letter, 'You all know that former Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu is a candidate in the presidential election, who is also a tribal woman. For the first time since independence, a tribal woman has got the honor of being elected President. After due consideration the party has decided to vote in favor of Draupadi Murmu.

Maharashtra

The power crisis in Maharashtra, which has been going on since the end of June, started to subside in early July. With this, the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, which was in power, was also put to a halt. Now many other parties including Shiv Sena, Congress, Nationalist Congress Party were involved in this government. The Shiv Sena was leading the government here. At the moment, there is no big statement about the future of the MVA, but it could face a major setback with support in the presidential election.

On the one hand, Shiv Sena, which supports Uddhav Thackeray, has announced to go in favor of Murmu along with the remaining MLAs and MPs. At the same time, Congress is with Sinha. There were reports that NCP chief Sharad Pawar has also taken over the command of Sinha's campaign. Recently he also held a meeting with the opposition parties. The Samajwadi Party, which is in the alliance, can also go with the opposition candidate.

Uttar Pradesh

Nothing is certain about the alliance between Suhaildev Bharatiya Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party in the state. On Thursday, a new dispute is also reported to have started between the two parties over giving a car as a gift. However, on Friday, SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has also announced Murmu's support. Rajbhar told that he had also attended a dinner party organized by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in which Murmu was also present.

Regarding the presidential election, SBSP spokesperson Piyush Mishra had earlier said, 'SP did not invite us to the meeting of opposition parties regarding the presidential election, in which Yashwant Sinha, the opposition candidate was present. Now you can guess that if we are not called, then what other way is left for us.' Regarding the alliance, he said, "The SP has to decide the fate of the alliance. Otherwise Ram Ram, Jai Siya Ram.'

The SP had fought the 2022 UP Assembly elections in alliance with RLD, SBSP, Mahan Dal, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party-Lohia, Apna Dal (Communist) and Janwadi Party. PSP-L chief Shivpal Yadav has already spoken of voting for Murmu. At the same time, the Mahan Dal and the Janata Party (Samajwadi) have separated from the SP.

Congress suffers the most!

Till the beginning of the year, the Congress was ruling in three states of Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Punjab. Whereas, Jharkhand and Maharashtra were part of the coalition holding the throne. By the middle of the year, the party was out of power after defeat in Punjab and insurgency in Maharashtra.

Now in terms of relations, both in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the Congress does not appear to be in a good position. In Maharashtra, state chief Nana Patole has been insisting on going alone in the elections. Along with this, he had raised questions on NCP and Shiv Sena. Many big leaders have told that Thackeray does not talk to Congress about decisions. At the same time, Congress has also accused the NCP of cheating.

According to media reports, Congress leaders complain that JMM did not respect their ministers and MLAs. According to the report, a section of Congress leaders, including some MLAs, are in favor of withdrawing from the government and giving only outside support, but four Congress ministers are not ready to give up their posts and facilities.
