Punjab / 6 year old Hrithik fell in 300 feet deep borewell could not survive, rescue went for 8 hours

A six-year-old boy has died after he fell into a borewell in Gadriwala village of Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The child was trying to save himself from the stray dog, when his foot slipped and fell into the borewell. Rescue operation was started on the spot immediately. Excavation was started as soon as oxygen was delivered to the child. After much effort, the child was taken out and admitted to the hospital where he died.

The incident was 25 km away from Hoshiarpur district headquarters. Here 6-year-old Hrithik had fallen in a borewell about 300 feet deep. The child was trapped after going down about 95 feet. After getting information, rescue operation was started to save the child. A JCB machine was employed to dig the tunnel to reach the borewell.

Let us inform that a borewell was open in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, when a stray dog ​​ran the child passing by. The child was running in an attempt to save himself, when he became unbalanced and fell into the open borewell. After this, the army was called for rescue on being informed. Administration officials reached the spot.

Local officials said that the child had fallen into the borewell at 9 am on Sunday. Oxygen was given to the child during the rescue. Excavation was started with machines. The child was trapped at 95 feet. A pipe was used to get the child out. According to officials, Hrithik was in an unconscious state when he was pulled out.
