Around 70 children climbed the roof of the school to save their lives at Masti Pathshala in Saraikela district, adjacent to Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. The water level entered the school as the river's water level rose, as well as the temple of the school's courtyard was completely submerged. So the children climbed on the roof of the temple in fear.

The temple of Pandeshwar Baba at Bhimkhanda has been completely submerged due to the rise in the water level of the river. There is a system of free education, health, food and residential school for poor children under Masti Pathshala. Here, students whose parents have passed away, or whose parents come to the city every day for wages, are given free education to those students here. About 70 children study here.

On Thursday, the water of the Kharkhai river entered this school adjacent to the temple premises. When the entire village and temple were flooded, the school children who study and live here, climbed on the roof of the school out of fear.

The villagers also say that there is water around the school and thus the children cannot come to the village, so all the children have climbed on the roof of the school.

Information has been given to the administration in this regard. The villagers are providing food to the children at their level and encouraging them. If the water level of the river decreases, then the water will decrease from around the school and if the water level rises then the children will have to be removed from there as soon as possible.
