15 children of a government school at Ghorghat in Bihar's Munger district fell ill. He has been admitted to the hospital. The principal of Shah Zubair Middle School told that the health of these children deteriorated after giving anthelmintic pills. Similar incident happened in Bhagalpur school also. There are reports of 30 children getting sick. Some children had to be given oxygen due to unconsciousness.

According to news agency ANI, 15 children have fallen ill in Munger, while media reports put their number at more than 50. The children got hurt as soon as they were given the medicine, due to which there was chaos in the school. The civil surgeon has declared the condition of all the children out of danger.

Deworming Day is being celebrated in Munger on Friday, due to which Albendazole medicine is being given to children in all government and non-government schools of the district. Under this, medicines were given by the health department personnel to the children in Shah Zubair School on Friday morning. Shortly after taking the medicine, the children began to faint. At the same time, when the villagers came to know about this, all reached the school and the children were admitted to the primary health center. At present he is undergoing treatment.

According to Dr. Anand Shankar Sharan Singh, Civil Surgeon of Munger, Albendazole medicine was given in all schools on the occasion of Worm Day. Meanwhile, in the said school of Bariarpur block, 50 children became ill after consuming the medicine. After this all the children are being treated by bringing them to Bariyarpur PHC and all the children are out of danger. School teachers were instructed to give worm medicine along with vomiting medicine to the children only after midday meal, but the children were given medicine on an hungry stomach. Because of this this situation has arisen.

Uproar in Bhagalpur, nurse held hostage, teacher ran away

Angry family members created a ruckus in Bhagalpur school after children fell ill. Nurse Ranjita Kumari was taken hostage, while the teachers ran away. There is also news of assault with a nurse. The incident took place at Ajmeripur Middle School in Nathnagar block of Bhagalpur. 30 children have been admitted to the referral hospital Nathnagar for treatment.
