A huge cache of weapons has been found in the hands of Maharashtra Police. Dhule Police has seized 89 swords and a dagger being carried in a vehicle near Songir village in Dhule. BJP leader Ram Kadam has raised questions while tweeting about receiving a consignment of weapons in Dhule. He asked who wants to cause riots in Maharashtra?
Dhule Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Patil said that four accused have been arrested in the case. they are being interrogated. The value of the seized weapons is said to be more than Rs 7 lakh. Police have arrested four accused Mohammad Sharif Mohammad Shafiq (35), Sheikh Ilyas Sheikh Latif (32), Syed Nai Syed Rahim (29) and Kapil Dabhade (35) in the case. All four are residents of Jalna district. Further investigation of the matter is on.
