Special / 9-year-old Belgium Boy will complete his graduation in engineering next month, University says he is exceptional

A 9-year-old boy is about to graduate in Belgium. Laurent Simmons is doing electrical engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE). University staff say he is exceptional. Laurent will complete his degree in December.

Laurent's father told CNN that he plans to pursue a PhD in electrical engineering. He also wants to pursue a medical degree. Laurent's mother Lida and father Alexander Simons said - her teachers saw something special in Laurent. However, the parents also said that we do not know why Laurent is able to learn so quickly? His mother jokingly said that this is probably because I used to eat a lot of fish during pregnancy.

Laurent is a fast Learner

Laurent understands his syllabus faster than other students. Joey Halshoff, TUE's director of education, said that we arrange a better program for special students. In the same way, we also help the students who participate in the main games. Laurent is extraordinary. There is inspiration for the youth.

He said that Laurent is the best among the students here. He is not only intelligent, but also very gentle. Laurent told CNN that his favorite subject is electrical engineering. He is also going to study in the field of medicine. 

She is completely different than 9-year-olds. Laurent wants to develop prostheses. However, he must still complete a bachelor's degree. He plans to vacation in Japan after graduation.
