Murder / A teenage daughter killed her Mother with Karate Belt over a dispute about studying.

Police said on Tuesday that a 15-year-old girl allegedly strangled her mother with a karate belt after a dispute with her studies in Navi Mumbai. They said that the girl then tried to get her to experience an accidental death. The incident occurred in the Airoli area of ​​Navi Mumbai on July 30. 

An official from Rabale said that the girl and her 40-year-old mother used to quarrel frequently because the woman wanted her daughter to attend a medical course, but the latter refused to do so. 

The girl also filed a complaint with the police about her mother last month, and then the police notified the family. The official said that on July 30, the girl told police that her mother fell and died. 

The body was sent for an autopsy and the report showed the woman was strangled to death, he said. The official said that during questioning, the girl told police that she strangled her mother with a karate belt after fighting with her mother. 

He said the teenager was arrested on Monday and a case was registered under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
