Chhattisgarh / Man Killed Girl By Stabbing Her 51 Times With A Screwdriver In Korba

Chhattisgarh Girl Murder: A 20-year-old girl was allegedly killed by a man in Korba district of Chhattisgarh by hitting her 51 times with a screwdriver because the victim refused to talk to the accused. The police gave this information on Tuesday (December 27). City Superintendent of Police (Korba) Vishwadeepak Tripathi said that the incident took place in the residential colony of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL).

The police have recovered many items from the scene of the incident. Among these, there is also a flight ticket from Gujarat to Raipur. According to the police, after coming here from Gujarat, the accused stayed in a hotel in Korba and got an opportunity and entered the girl's house. When the accused reached the victim's house, she was alone in her house. During the assault, the accused had kept a pillow on the girl's face so that no one could hear her screams and attacked her 51 times with a screwdriver.

The accused passenger was the conductor in the bus

The officer said that when the victim's brother returned home, he saw his sister's blood-soaked body. He said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused, a resident of Jashpur district, had befriended the victim three years ago when he worked as a conductor in a passenger bus and the girl used to travel in the same bus.

the girl stopped talking

The accused later went to Ahmedabad in Gujarat for work and both were in touch over phone. The officer said that when the woman stopped talking to him on the phone, the accused had also threatened her parents. He said that a case has been registered in this regard and four police teams have been formed to trace the absconding accused.
