Delhi Liquor Scam / AAP again shocked Sanjay Singh, HC rejected the petition filed against his arrest

Delhi Liquor Scam: Rajya Sabha MP from Aam Aadmi Party Sanjay Singh has got a big blow from Delhi High Court. The court on Friday rejected his plea challenging his arrest and ED remand in a money laundering case related to the alleged scam in liquor policy. The Enforcement Directorate had arrested Sanjay Singh on October 4. After hearing Sanjay Singh's petition on Thursday, Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma's court had reserved its decision. During the hearing, ED had opposed Sanjay Singh's petition and said that a case of money laundering was made against him, hence he has been arrested.

The Enforcement Directorate had arrested AAP MP Sanjay Singh in connection with the money laundering investigation related to the alleged Delhi NITI scam case. After his arrest, ED presented Sanjay Singh in Rouse Avenue Court on 5 October. Where, the court had sent Sanjay Singh on ED remand first till 10th October and then till 13th October.

ED's remand ended on October 13

Sanjay Singh was sent to judicial custody after the ED remand period ended on October 13. After this, Sanjay Singh had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court on October 13 challenging his remand and arrest, but now he has not got relief from there either.

Three AAP leaders arrested so far

Let us tell you that till now three leaders have been arrested from Aam Aadmi Party. The first arrest was in the form of Satyendar Jain, after which former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was arrested and now the clampdown has been tightened on Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh. All three leaders are currently behind bars.
