Amanatullah Khan Case: AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was produced before the District Judge at Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Saturday. From here he was presented in the court of Special Judge Vikas Dhul for hearing. Delhi's Anti-Corruption Branch-ACB demanded 14-day police custody of Amanatullah Khan from the Special Judge.

The judge accepted the demand of ACB, but instead of 14 days, the remand of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was given to the ACB for only 4 days. Before the court appearance, Amanatullah Khan said that he is being implicated unnecessarily. AAP MLA from Okhla, Delhi, Khan has been arrested in connection with alleged irregularities in the two-year-old Waqf Board Recruitment. ACB has taken this action against AAP MLA Khan.

Why did ACB ask for 14 days remand

The ACB had asked the special judge to grant the remand of MLA Amanatullah Khan for 14 days. ACB said that they have to go to Gopalganj, Nainital, Gujarat for the case related to AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, so 14 remands are needed. Advocate Rahul Mehra appeared for Amanat. He told the special judge that 14 days remand should not be given to the ACB. Advocate Mehra argued that the ACB did not have any such documents, which could prove the wrongdoing.

Rahul Mehra moved the bail application of MLA Amanatullah Khan before the court. During this, the court asked that what was the investigation done on the allegations in the last 2 years? In response to this, the public prosecutor told the court that Hamid has given a statement before the police that the pistol and Rs 12 lakh were given by Amanat and said that when needed, he will tell what to do with them. The ACB said that in the personal account of Amanatullah Khan, people deposited Rs 80 lakh for the Waqf Board. There are many properties whose rent is being charged less than the market rate.

AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan to appear in Delhi court. Before this appearance, he has given a statement that nothing has been found during the raids in his house. ACB has got a diary from Kausar Imam Siddiqui, an aide of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan. There are many important information in this diary as well. In this a hand written cash entry has been found which is worth Rs 4 crore and is in the name of Amanatullah. There is also a different entry in Bihar, in which lakhs of rupees have been sent to Bihar. 5 crore 60 lakh cash entries are recorded for Gujarat. In Telangana, Uttarakhand, the entry of sending money has also been received.

Apart from this, there is NFC worth 14 crores. Property papers have also been recovered. The diary lists 15 properties. The properties from which money came from these were given to those people who did not have any right on that money. 32 people who were wrongly hired. He was given Rs 3.2 crore as salary from March 2019 to 2021. According to RTI, his total income is 4 lakh 32 thousand. But such a person takes Rs 4 crore to 5 crore cash.

Hamid Ali made a big disclosure

The disclosure of Hamid Ali Khan, the business partner of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, can increase his troubles. During interrogation, Hamid told that Amanatullah had kept the weapons and cash at my house. He said that all the transactions were also done on the instructions of Amanatullah. Hamid told that originally he is a resident of Bulandshahr UP and does property work in Delhi. He also told during interrogation that he is associated with AAP's MLA Amanatullah Khan from the very beginning and looks after their financial matters. Hamid said that ACB raided my house.

He said that during this period 1 country made pistol, 16 live cartridges, 12 empty cartridges, 16 pellets and about Rs 12 lakh (12,09,000) were recovered from his house. Hamid said in interrogation that all this was given to him by MLA Amanatullah Khan to keep. Hamid says that MLA Khan told him that if needed, he will tell what to do with the pistol, cartridges and cash. Hamid inquired, "I am remembering this much now, if I remember anything else, then I will tell you. Whatever mistake I made, I should be forgiven."

CM Kejriwal targets BJP

Before AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has also targeted him without naming BJP. He has said in his tweet that earlier these people arrested Satyendra Jain. Despite being asked several times by the court, these people have not been able to present any evidence. Kejriwal said that then these people raided Manish's house, they did not find anything there too, now Amanatullah has been arrested. CM Kejriwal said that he will now arrest many more MLAs. He said that they seem to be facing a lot of trouble in Gujarat.
