Politics News: Congress has expelled Acharya Pramod Krishnam from the party for six years. He recently praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony and criticized the Congress for not attending the event. Pramod Krishnam has also met PM Modi and raised questions on Congress on many occasions. Pramod Krishnam's first reaction after being expelled from the party has come out and he has tagged Rahul Gandhi.

Sharing the post on X, Pramod Krishnam said that there cannot be a “compromise” on Ram and the “nation”. He said this while addressing Rahul Gandhi. Poet Kumar Vishwas retweeted his post and wrote Tulsidas's lines from Vinay Patrika. The meaning of these lines is that whoever is not dear to Lord Ram and Mother Sita should be left behind like millions of enemies, no matter how beloved he is. Prahlad had abandoned his father (Hiranyakashyap), Vibhishana had abandoned his brother (Ravana) and Braj-Gopis had abandoned their husbands, but all of them brought happiness and welfare.

Why did Congress expel him from the party?

At the same time, Congress says that Acharya Pramod Krishnam was expelled on charges of 'indiscipline' and making repeated statements against the party. However, the party has not mentioned the specific reason for this decision. Congress leader KC Venugopal says that the Congress President has expelled Pramod Krishnam from the party for six years due to his repeated anti-party statements and complaints of indiscipline.

Acharya Pramod says that his meeting with PM Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was only to invite him for the inauguration of Kalki Dham. He had also met CM Yogi, after which discussions intensified in political circles that Acharya Pramod may join BJP. Who is Acharya Pramod Krishnam?

Acharya Pramod Krishnam had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Lucknow on a Congress ticket, but he could not stand before the Modi wave and had to face defeat. However, Acharya Pramod was successful in securing 1.8 lakh votes. Earlier, he had contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Sambhal and had to face defeat here too. Acharya Pramod was earlier a part of the Congress' Uttar Pradesh Advisory Council, which was formed to help Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the UP in-charge for the party. It is said that he has been one of the leaders close to Priyanka Gandhi. Apart from this, Sachin is also considered close to Pilot. During the rift between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot, Acharya Pramod had targeted Gehlot.
