According to a PTI report, the Maharashtra government opened the bids received for the Dharavi redevelopment project on Tuesday, November 29, in which several celebrities attended. According to the information given by SVR Srinivas, CEO of the project, 'Three bids were received for this, out of which one of Naman Group's bid could not qualify in the bidding. After this the bids of Adani Realty and DLF were opened.

According to the CEO, 'Adani Group led by Gautam Adani had bid more than double the bid of DLF for this project. The report said that Adani's bid was Rs 5,069 crore, while DLF's bid for Dharavi redevelopment was Rs 2,025 crore. Let us tell you that the area of ​​Dharavi slum is spread over 2.5 square kilometers, for which the government has set a deadline of seven years.

Dharavi redevelopment project will be of great benefit to the slum dwellers in this area. The government has taken this big step towards improving Mumbai.


Under this project, the people living in the slums of Dharavi will get free houses, which will increase their standard of living. After the issue of the Commencement Certificate, the work of the first phase is expected to be completed in 7 years. The area of ​​Dharavi slum is spread over 2.5 square kilometers, whose entire project is worth more than Rs 20,000 crore.
