These documents alleged that China had interfered in Canadian elections by supporting candidates sympathetic to President Xi Jinping's government. According to Bloomberg report, on Wednesday the Federal Commission of Canada said that it will investigate the involvement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government in this matter.

Canadian Federal Commission also asked for documents from Trudeau government
