Bond made in kolkata

Describing her ordeal, Sheetal Patel said that we left for Kolkata on November 12 last year as the agents had promised to take us from there to America. But, agents in Kolkata kidnapped us. They took my daughter and told me to arrange money to save her. Talking to reporters in Gandhinagar after reaching Gujarat, the woman said that the agents had illegally detained her for three months.

Money given by selling house and farm

Sheetal said, though we had given them money by selling our house and farm, the agents did not send us to America. When they came to know that the police had started an investigation, the agents took us to Delhi, from where we were rescued by the Gujarat Police. Gandhinagar police said on Sunday that in the last few months, a gang of these agents kidnapped and tortured 15 people, including a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, on the pretext of sending them abroad.

All the victims were rescued from Delhi and brought to Gujarat. He said that the state police has so far arrested one such agent in this connection. Another victim Nisha Patel from Kharna village in Gandhinagar claimed that she and her husband Tejas Patel were tortured at gunpoint for nearly three months. Agents promised that my husband and I would reach America in just two weeks. They took us to Kolkata in December last year and told us that they would take us to Canada first. But, to extort from our family in Gujarat, they kidnapped us and locked us in a room.
