Questions are being raised about how the important institute like AIIMS caught fire. The Fire Department says that the building in which the fire was set up, did not even have a NOC (No Observation Certificate). The forensic team investigating this case will give its report to the police on Sunday. A shocking disclosure has been made in the case of fire at Delhi AIIMS, the country's largest and VIP hospital. The Fire Department says that the AIIMS building where the fire has taken place, did not even have NOC (No Observation Certificate). This is a complete violation of rules.

According to Delhi Fire officials, there was no fire NOC in the Teaching Block of AIIMS in which there was a terrible fire on Saturday. This building is very old. According to the rules, it is mandatory to take Fire NOC every three years and every year Fire NOC is certified, which AIIMS did not provide.

Health Minister took stock of the situationUnion Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan visited the spot on Sunday morning and took stock of the situation. He was also accompanied by AIIMS director and senior faculty member. The AIIMS administration has started an internal investigation into the matter. AIIMS has said in a statement that it has a regular system of fire prevention and fire personnel are deployed round the clock. AIIMS director has a meeting with all the department heads to consider the situation.

The minister said that the loss is being assessed

Meanwhile, on the AIIMS fire, Union Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey has said that the patients are not having any problem, the patients who were shifted have returned to their wards. The damage is very high, machines and other goods are burnt. He said that the damage done is being assessed.

Everybody is shocked by the fire that broke out in the country's premier medical institute All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday.Questions are being raised about how such an important institution caught fire. It is worth mentioning that due to short circuit on Saturday evening, there was a fire in the Teaching Block of AIIMS on the first and second floors which reached the fifth floor. The fire was controlled to a great extent with the help of 34 fire engines, but the smoke was continuously rising.

Later, a fire broke out on the fifth floor due to AC compressor burst.

However, no casualties were reported in this fire incident. The emergency department of AIIMS was closed as a precaution and the good thing is that all the patients are safe.

The AIIMS administration is investigating the case against unknown people under IPC 336 (threatening the life or personal safety of others) and IPC 436 (mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to destroy house etc.).

Action will be taken on negligence

This FIR has been filed against unknown people. The forensic team of the Fire Department will inspect the site of fire in AIIMS on Sunday and report to the Delhi Police. After that, action will be taken by deciding whose negligence is made.

Director of Delhi Fire Service Vipin Kantal told that there is also OPD and Neurology block in Teaching Block of AIIMS. There were not many patients in the OPD block, but 13 patients were rescued from the block adjacent to it and 7 patients were also on ventilators which were shifted. Due to the ventilation shaft, the fire spread upwards inside.

Fire spread in lab due to short circuit

It is being told that the fire caused by a short circuit in the emergency lab spread to the entire lab. This ward is close to emergency, due to which the emergency ward was closed immediately. The patients of this ward were shifted to other places.

The most important thing is that these days former Union Minister Arun Jaitley is admitted in AIIMS in a critical condition. He is admitted to another block about 500 meters from the place of fire. Many Union ministers and other VVIPs, including the President, PM Modi, have been known.
