He had also announced the candidature of Tej Pratap Yadav, he was to file nomination on Wednesday, but he was stopped at the right time. Now it is being told that Akhilesh Yadav himself will file nomination tomorrow.

Decision taken under pressure from local leaders

It is believed that Akhilesh Yadav has agreed to contest elections from Kannauj on the insistence of local leaders. In fact, the local leaders of Kannauj were not ready to support Tej Pratap Yadav under any circumstances. Tej Pratap has been MP from Mainpuri

Akhilesh Yadav had given ticket to Tej Pratap Yadav from Kannauj. He was scheduled to file his nomination on Wednesday. Before this, Tej Pratap Yadav had been MP from Mainpuri. He wanted to contest elections this time. That is why Akhilesh Yadav had declared him the candidate from Kannauj seat. However, now his candidature seems to be in danger. Tej Pratap is the youngest son-in-law of Lalu Yadav. He is married to Lalu's youngest daughter Rajlakshmi.
