Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a significant press conference in Mumbai, where he announced the launch of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' across the country. This month-long campaign is scheduled to begin on September 17, coinciding with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and will continue until October 17. The campaign aims to reach every administrative unit, including states, union territories, districts, Lok Sabha constituencies, assembly seats, and down to the booth level.

A Milestone of 25 Years in Public Office

During the press conference, Amit Shah highlighted a unique organizational milestone, while he noted that on October 7, 2026, Narendra Modi will complete 25 years of continuous service as a Chief Minister and Prime Minister. Shah pointed out that very few leaders in the country's history have maintained such a consistent record of public service in these high offices. Other highlights include musical theatrical performances in local languages, 'Aangan Milan Seva', and the 'Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra'. A special 'Seva Yatra' will be organized from Vadnagar to Varanasi, tracing the Prime Minister's journey. The campaign also includes initiatives like 'Seva Mera Yogdan', 'Seva Setu Abhiyan', 'Seva Ke Rang Rashtra Ke Sang', 'Seva For Innovation Challenge', and 'Sushasan Seva Samvad'.
