Amit Shah on ITBP: Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised the security forces in Bengaluru on Saturday. Amit Shah said that I am completely sure about the border of China and India (India-China LAC) and no one can take an inch of land from the country. Appreciating the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Shah called them 'Himveer' and said that when they are patrolling the border, no one can encroach even an inch of the country's land.

'ITBP works in the most difficult conditions'

Praising the ITBP jawans, he said that they guard the borders in difficult conditions and for them the title of 'Himveer' is bigger than Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan. After inaugurating ITBP's Central Intelligence Training Institute, Shah said, "We cannot even imagine how they guard our borders in minus 42 degrees Celsius. This can happen only with a strong will and a sense of supreme service to patriotism. ITBP works in difficult geographical conditions of Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh or Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah said, 'People of India call ITBP jawans as 'Himveer'. This title is bigger than civilian awards like Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan. Whereas, civilian awards are government titles, 'Himveer' is a title given by the people of India.' He said that out of all the Central Armed Police Forces, ITPB works in the harshest weather conditions.

'China-India does not worry about the border'

The Home Minister said, 'I am completely relaxed about the India-China border and never worry, when our ITBP personnel are patrolling or camping, no one can encroach even an inch of our land there. ' He said that the Government of India is planning to give 100 days to Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel to spend time with their families at their headquarters. Shah said, 'It is necessary from the humanitarian point of view.'
