DelhI: During the passing out parade of Indian Military Academy (IMA), STF Dehradun and Army Intelligence team arrested a fugitive person from the army. He was trying to enter the IMA in the uniform of an army officer. His intention was to take photographs with the passout army officers.

The arrested fugitive jawan of the army wanted to mislead people and family members by saying that they were officers by taking photographs with the officers. STF SSP Ajay Singh said that Jainath Sharma son Udayraj Sharma resident of village Adabraha Devipur district Maharajganj was arrested from near IMA under suspicious condition.

He was wearing a fake uniform of an army lieutenant rank officer. During interrogation, it was revealed that Jayanath was earlier posted as a constable in the army and was declared a fugitive by the army in the year 2017. He was posted in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar and was cracked down by the Army in 2016 for not returning to the job.


Recovered from many people by telling officers

Fake cards and many seals have been found from him. He is living in a rented room in Milan Vihar and used to tell people that he is undergoing training at IMA. In the name of recruitment in the army, he has taken money from many people.

The motive was to prove the military officer by taking photographs.

Jaynath, a fugitive from the army, hid this fact from his family members as well. He had told the family that his three-year training is going on at IMA Dehradun and now he will pass out. On Saturday also, his intention was to go inside the IMA and join the group photo with the passout officers and tell them about becoming an officer by showing the photo to the relatives and others.

no anti-national thing came to the fore

SSP Ajay Singh said that no anti-national thing has come to the fore in the preliminary investigation. The team is contacting in several units. So that some more fraud can be uncovered.
