MAHARASTRA / ATM worker turned out to be the robber in Goregaon, robbed Rs 77 lakh with password, set fire to destroy evidence

Vanrai Police in Goregaon, Maharashtra has registered a case against three ATM personnel for robbing an SBI ATM vending center and then setting the machine on fire to destroy evidence. The robbery was carried out on February 10 this year. Police said that the three accused had hatched a vicious plan to evade identification and arrest. It is being told that the three ATM personnel took the password from the head office by luring the bank personnel and then looted Rs 77 lakh. All of them have been booked under relevant sections of the IPC on charges other than theft and criminal conspiracy.

Three people's poles open from fireproof cassette

On February 10, when a fire broke out at the SBI ATM center in Goregaon, police and fire brigade officials rushed to the spot. After dousing the fire, bank officials checked the ATM vending machine, which was burnt but the cash vault was closed. At the same time, when a bank technician reached the spot to inspect the machine, he opened it in front of the company's patron Hrithik Yadav. When the machine was opened, they found that it was empty as a large amount of cash had been stolen with only a few Rs 500 notes being found in the teller machine. While the DVR was burnt, no footage was available but the cassettes in the machine were fireproof, revealing that the three men carried out the robbery.

Only three ATM personnel carried out the robbery

On checking the cassette it was revealed that the company's patrons- Prabhakar, Yadav and Sonawale, who allegedly took the password from the head office to access the machine and later robbed Rs 77 lakh from two ATM machines.
