New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case turned into a mystery after his family accused his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of abetment to suicide and more. Later, the case was transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation, however, the investigating agency hasn't shared any details of the probe as of yet. Soon the Narcotics Control Bureau also stepped in after a drugs angle emerged in the case, and Rhea Chakraborty was arrested. Now, NCB is summoning many big stars related to Bollywood's alleged drugs nexus. However, in a recent press conference, lawyer Vikas Singh stated that the late actor's family feels that the investigation is being misled.

In the press conference, he stated that the Narcotics angle is taking away the media attention from Sushant Singh Rajput's death case as big stars are being called for questioning. He also raised questions as to why CBI is delaying in sharing the details of the investigation. Vikas Singh revealed that the CBI team hasn't called for a meeting with AIIMS doctors as yet. He also claimed that a doctor from AIIMS, on the basis of the photos of SSR's body clicked by sister Meetu, told him that Sushant's death was by strangulation. He stated that the investigation is needed to get back on track.

Vikas Singh further in the press conference questioned why CBI hasn't issued any press statement so far. He stated that CBI should inform the family of the deceased about the investigation that has been done, so that they can take any action further, if needed.

Earlier, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti had also raised concern over the investigation and stated how much long the family has to wait to find out the truth.
