Bajaj Pulsar 180 Relaunched: New Features, Powerful Engine, and Competitive Pricing

Bajaj Auto has officially brought back the iconic Pulsar 180 to the Indian market after a four-year hiatus. The motorcycle returns with modern tech, updated graphics, and a refined engine. Priced at ₹1.22 lakh, it aims to reclaim its position in the sporty commuter segment.

Bajaj Auto has announced the re-entry of the Bajaj Pulsar 180 into the Indian motorcycle market. After being discontinued in 2022, the legendary model makes a comeback after nearly four years. The company has repositioned the bike to cater to enthusiasts who seek a blend of sporty aesthetics and reliable performance in the 150-180cc segment.

Engine Specifications and Performance

61cc single-cylinder, DTSi air-cooled engine. According to official specifications, this powerplant delivers a maximum power of 17 PS and a peak torque of 15 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, designed to provide a smooth power delivery suitable for both city commutes and highway riding.

Design Updates and Aesthetic Enhancements

While maintaining its classic naked streetfighter silhouette, the 2026 Pulsar 180 features several cosmetic updates. It now comes with sporty new graphics and rim strips that enhance its road presence. Key design elements include LED headlights, a compact visor, a wide handlebar, and a 15-liter curvy fuel tank. The bike also features a single-piece seat, split grab rails, and an upswept exhaust system.

Advanced Safety and Suspension Setup

For enhanced rider safety, the new Pulsar 180 is equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The braking hardware consists of a 280 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. The suspension system utilizes telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It offers a ground clearance of 165 mm and a wheelbase of 1340 mm, ensuring stability across various terrains.

Smart Connectivity and Modern Tech

In line with modern requirements, Bajaj has integrated several tech features into the new model. It features a fully digital monochrome LCD speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity. Also, a Type-A USB charging port has been provided for mobile devices. The motorcycle is available in five distinct color options: Black Gold, Black Blue, Black Grey, Black Red, and White.
