RCB Captain Faf Du Plessis: Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis has revealed that the team's players have not been able to get enough sleep since the Eliminator match against Lucknow Supergiants. This match between RCB and Lucknow Supergiants was played on Tuesday, but due to rain, the match ended late.

RCB won this match and managed to make it to Qualifier 2. The match of Qualifier-2 will be played today i.e. on Friday. Here RCB will face Rajasthan Royals. Since the Eliminator match was played in Kolkata and the Qualifier 2 game would be played in Ahmedabad, the players had to take a flight.

Talking on RCB's social media, Faf du Plessis said that the Eliminator match ended late and due to this the players have not been able to sleep. He said it was emotionally stressful, with most of us not getting enough sleep, as we returned quite late because the game was over late.

What was going on in the RCB camp before the Eliminator match?

In the 2020 and 2021 seasons of IPL, RCB was ruled out of the tournament after losing the Eliminator match. The team has reached the playoffs for the third time in a row and will try to become the champion this time. For this, captain Faf du Plessis asked the players not to think too much about the match. Faf wants the players to remain calm and play their natural game before the big match.

Faf du Plessis said that it was important for me before these games that we bring those feelings down a bit. It was a really cool dressing room. RCB will face Rajasthan Royals today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It will be interesting to see whether RCB will be able to reach the final as they have not played a single final since 2016.
