Bhagwant Mann surprised everyone by showcasing his volleyball playing skills on the opening day of the event. The video of him playing volleyball is going viral on social media.

After inaugurating the two-month-long sporting event, Mann impressed the youth by playing a volleyball match for about 10-15 minutes at the Guru Gobind Singh Stadium. Mann tried his hand at a smash volleyball game at the event. Surrounded by security personnel, Mann was seen wearing a track suit on the volleyball court, he also wore a hat at the back. The video has been shared by the Aam Aadmi Party from its official Twitter handle. The party has given the caption 'Man Sahab on the pitch' to this video.

Mann also scored points for his team

He not only served but also scored some points for his team from his game. Later the players said that they were amazed by his (Bhagwant Mann) skill on the court. He played very well. Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the sports event 'Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan'. Addressing a gathering after the inauguration, Mann said that over 4 lakh players in the age group of 6 are expected to participate in competitions from block to state level in 28 sports categories.

CM Mann remembered the old days

He said that a total cash prize of Rs 6 crore would be given to the state level winners and these games would be an annual feature in the sports calendar of the state. I am excited to see Punjab happy and young people in the field of sports. The Chief Minister said that it was a wonderful day in his life as he relived his youthful memories. He said that sports is the only means through which the energy of youth can be channelized in a positive way.
