In IPL 2023, the schedule of the match to be played between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings on May 4 has been changed. This match is to be played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Big change in schedule between IPL 2023

The 46th league match of IPL 2023 will be played between the hosts Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings. This match between the two teams was to be played on May 4 from 3.30 pm. But on the same day voting is to be held for the civic body elections in Lucknow. In such a situation, this match will now be played on May 3 instead of four. Till now there is no official information in this regard but BCCI has informally told the teams that the match will be held a day earlier.

A source in the board told PTI, "Elections to the Lucknow Municipality are to be held on May 4, so there could be an issue regarding security." The match between Lucknow Super Giants and CSK is from 3:30. Now this match will be played at the same time on May 3. Actually, this big decision has been taken so that there is no decrease in the voting percentage.
