Two terrorists killed in Sujwan on Friday, one soldier martyred

Two terrorists were killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Sujwan on Friday morning, while one jawan has been martyred and four jawans are injured. The encounter is taking place in the Sunjwan area of ​​Jammu. Jammu Zone ADGP Mukesh Singh said that a total of two terrorists were killed in the encounter. He said that we have cordoned off the area and the encounter is still on. It seems that terrorists are hiding in the house.

Terrorist attack on a bus full of CISF jawans on Friday, ASI martyred; two soldiers injured

Terrorists attacked a bus loaded with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) near Chadha camp in Jammu and Kashmir at around 4.15 am on Friday. In which one ASI was martyred and two jawans were seriously injured.

A senior CISF official said that 15 jawans were in the bus, all were going for duty in the morning shift. Meanwhile, the ambush terrorists attacked the bus. CISF relentlessly fought the terrorist attack. In retaliation, one ASI was martyred and two others were injured.

Encounter in Baramulla on Thursday, three terrorists including Lashkar commander killed

Three terrorists, including a Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, were killed by security forces in an encounter in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday. The slain gangster Yusuf Kantru was involved in the killing of the SPO and his brother, former BDC chairman Bhupendra Singh, among others, who were killed in the recent terror attack in Budgam district. According to sources, Yusuf was active in terrorist activities since 2017. Four Army personnel and one Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were also injured in the encounter.

According to IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar, Budgam police had received inputs that five terrorists were hiding in Malwah area of ​​Baramulla district. In which three are local and two are Pakistani. Acting on information, the Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Army and CRPF cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. As soon as the security forces entered the area, the terrorists hiding in a house opened fire on the security forces, in which three army personnel and one police personnel were injured. The injured soldiers were admitted to the hospital.

The security forces retaliated and killed three terrorists. In this, top Lashkar commander Yusuf Kantru was also killed. He was recently involved in several killings of civilians and security personnel including the killing of a police SPO and his brother, a soldier and a civilian in Budgam district. He had killed BDC President Sardar Bhupinder Singh on 23 September 2020 at his native place in Khag area of ​​Budgam district. Many cases were registered against terrorist Kantru in Khag police station.

Didn't even listen to family members

The IGP said that another terrorist has also been killed in the encounter, who has been identified as Faisal Ahmed. According to local sources, Faisal's family members were called to get him to surrender, but he did not agree. The slain Lashkar commander Yusuf was associated with terrorism since 2000. He was working for Lashkar since 2017. Police said Kantru had twice joined the ranks of terrorism and distanced himself from it.
