According to the order, this order will be applicable in all recognized, aided and non-aided madrassas. The Madrasa Education Council has made the national anthem mandatory before studies in madrassas. All madrassas that are opening after the Ramzan holidays in UP will now have the national anthem before studies and prayers will also be sought.
According to Minority Welfare Minister Danish Azad Ansari, the national anthem will be performed in all madrasas and for this a letter has been issued to all minority welfare officers. It is worth noting that from May 14, the Madrasa Board examinations are also being conducted. According to Board's registrar SN Pandey, there was a holiday in madrasas from March 30 to May 11 during Ramzan and this order will be deemed to be applicable from Thursday after regular classes start from May 12.
