Of the 3 local terrorists killed, 2 have been identified. One terrorist has been identified as Lateef Lone of Shopian. He was involved in the murder of Puran Krishna Bhat, a Kashmiri Pandit. The other terrorist has been identified as Umar Nazir. He belonged to Anantnag and was involved in the assassination of Til Bahadur Thapa of Nepal. Apart from this, the jawans have recovered 1 AK 47 rifle and 2 pistols. This information has been given by ADGP Kashmir.
