Lakhimpur Kheri / BJP asks party MPs MLAs to ensure Lakhimpur like incidents do not recur

Lakhimpur Kheri : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is surrounded by the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, on Friday asked all its MPs and MLAs to ensure that no such incident happens again in their area. A leader aware of the matter gave this information. Party leaders were also instructed to avoid controversial statements. Lakhimpur Kheri MP and Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra Teni was also present in the meeting. Teni's son has been made the main accused in the violence.

The party issued this warning during a meeting of MPs and MLAs of Awadh region falling in central UP. The meeting was held at 5 Kalidas Marg, the official residence of Chief Minister Adityanath, to chalk out a strategy for the 2022 assembly elections. Yogi Adityanath, who was in Gorakhpur during the day, also reached to take part in this meeting.

Apart from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP State President Swatantra Dev Singh, General Secretary (Organisation) Sunil Bansal also addressed the MPs and MLAs. Senior state BJP leaders asked the MPs and MLAs to be alert. Asked not to allow incidents like Lakhmipur Kheri to happen again and to avoid controversial statements, which can give more weapons to the opposition. A party leader aware of the matter gave this information.

The BJP leader said, "Public representatives were asked to stay in their area, meet people and tell them about the schemes launched by the central and state governments. The MPs were also asked to counter the opposition's attack against the BJP government through public forums or social media. The Chief Minister took feedback from the MPs and MLAs about the development and welfare schemes in their area. It was asked to ensure that all projects are completed on time.

The leaders were also asked to mobilize their resources for the assembly elections as the opposition parties are engaged in public rallies, meetings and yatras across the state. The MPs and MLAs were told that to ensure the victory of the party in 2022, BJP units from village to state level will have to work together. He was asked to strengthen the organization at the booth level and motivate the workers. All the work of the organization was asked to be completed by the end of October.
