Ashok Gehlot News / BJP-RSS want to create a history full of communalism, democracy and constitution are in danger- Gehlot

Former CM Ashok Gehlot accused the central government, BJP and RSS of changing history and spreading communalism at the Jawahar Bal Manch program in Jaipur. He said that the sacrifices of Nehru, Indira and Rajiv Gandhi are being forgotten. Gehlot emphasized on saving the Constitution and teaching the correct history to the youth.

Ashok Gehlot News: Speaking at the Jawahar Bal Manch program in Jaipur, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made a serious allegation against the Central Government, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of changing the history of the country and creating a history full of communalism. Gehlot said that these people are trying to forget the country's freedom struggle and its heroes, especially denying the contribution of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and making derogatory and low-level comments against him.

Conspiracy to forget history

Gehlot said, "These people (BJP and RSS) want to create a new history full of communalism. They are not even sparing Jawaharlal Nehru to forget the things of history. They write such dirty and cheap things about Nehru. Their intention is dangerous. They are making a big mistake." He stressed that nothing is achieved by criticizing history. Gehlot took a dig at the BJP and said that those who try to forget history can never make history themselves.

Referring to the heroes of the freedom struggle like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Gopal Krishna Gokhale and Sardar Bhagat Singh, he said that the people sitting in power at the Center did not contribute anything to the freedom struggle. Gehlot alleged, "The people sitting in power at the Center did not even cut their finger in the country's freedom movement."

Threat to Constitution and Democracy

Gehlot supported the recent statements of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said that the Constitution and democracy are in danger today. He said, "What Rahul Gandhi is saying, whether it is about vote theft or saving the Constitution, there is a need to understand the intention behind it. What are the reasons behind talking about saving the Constitution, why did the situation arise, this has to be thought about." Gehlot also accused the central government of working in favor of capitalists.

IT revolution and responsibility of youth

The former CM described former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi as the father of IT revolution in the country and said that today the opposition parties are taking the most advantage of it. He appealed to the youth to understand the true history of the country and take it forward. Gehlot said, "We have to tell the youth how to increase knowledge. We have to take the benefits of the IT revolution started by Rajiv Gandhi in the right direction today."
