Tejbahadur Rajbhar, a resident of Kharvaniya village of Lar police station area, had decided to marry his daughter Meenu to Dharmendra Rajbhar, son of Ramanakshatra Rajbhar of Kabirpur village in Marwa police station area of ​​Siwan district of Bihar province. Talks continued between the two sides till morning, but the matter could not be reached.

Someone reported the incident to the police. The police reached the information and took the boy's father and brother to the police station, while the groom was taken into possession by the villagers. The police wanted to capture the groom but the villagers remained adamant on returning the dowry amount. After the relentless efforts of Inspector-in-charge TJ Singh on Saturday morning, the girls and the villagers accepted the matter and handed over the bride to the police.

Tejbahadur, the girl's father, says that despite giving one lakh 80 thousand rupees cash in dowry and other goods including fake jewelery, it was offered in the courtyard during the Gurhatan which is wrong. I will no longer marry my daughter in such a family. Inspector TJ Singh, in-charge of the said relationship, said that despite giving the cash amount given for the marriage, there was a dispute about mounting fake jewelery. Her father Ramanakshatra Rajbhar, brother and Baba along with the bridegroom have been brought to the police station. The bridegroom side is placed on the basis of the allegation made by the Virgo side. The cash amount of dowry given for marriage and all the material given in dowry will be returned, if not given, appropriate action will be taken.
