After the effect of the third wave of Corona subsided, the central government has asked the states to relax the restrictions related to Kovid. On the other hand, while further relaxing the restrictions in Delhi, it has been decided to end the night curfew from Monday. After two years, people will be able to celebrate Holi with gaiety due to the laxity of the central government in restrictions.

Citing the directions of the Union Health Ministry, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday asked all the states and union territories to consider relaxing the night curfew along with sports, entertainment, educational and religious events. Earlier, the Health Ministry had issued guidelines on 18 February.

While issuing the COVID guidelines for March, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla has asked the states that all states can consider relaxation in various activities after carefully analyzing the local situation.

Sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious activities, festivals, operation of public transport, shopping complexes, cinema halls, gyms, spas, restaurants and bars as well as schools, in states where the situation of corona infection is under control. Can remove restrictions related to colleges. Also said that where the risk of infection still remains, the restrictions will be continued in those places.

Still more than 10% infection rate in 57 districts

In 92 districts of the country, the weekly infection rate of corona is still five percent or more. This situation was between 15 and 21 February last. However, on Friday, the Health Ministry shared information with the states about the infection between February 18 and 24, according to which the weekly infection rate in 57 districts is more than 10 percent. All these districts are in the seven states of Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan, Nagaland and Telangana. Similarly, in 38 districts, the weekly infection rate is being recorded between five and 10 percent.

Wearing mask is mandatory, people should not forget social distance

The Home Secretary has emphasized that even after the relaxation of restrictions, there should not be any negligence in the behavior related to wearing of masks, maintaining social distance, cleanliness and ventilation in closed places etc. Apart from this, the states have been asked to continue the efforts for investigation, surveillance, vaccination for corona management.

Penalty amount reduced to 500 for not applying mask in Delhi

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has now announced an end to the night curfew in the capital due to the reduction in corona infection. Along with this, you will also be able to travel standing in Delhi Metro and buses. Apart from this, the fine amount for not wearing a mask was reduced from two thousand to five hundred rupees. Apart from this, from April 1, schools will be completely offline. Earlier, amid the weakening of the third wave of corona in the country, the central government has extended the corona guideline till 31 March.
