Chandrayaan 3 Mission: The first picture of the moon has come to the fore under the Chandrayaan-3 mission. This picture was recorded through the camera fitted in the spacecraft. The Chandrayaan mission reached the moon's orbit on Saturday. During this, while circling near the moon, the camera fitted in the spacecraft has made a video of the moon. The bright moon can be seen in the video. Solar panels fitted in the spacecraft are also visible in the video. ISRO shared these first glimpses of the moon on Twitter.

Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched on 14 July from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. After this, the spacecraft took five rounds of the earth and left for the moon. Saturday was an important day for the mission, as Chandrayaan-3 completed the Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI). Understand in simple language, the Chandrayaan-3 mission reached the orbit of the moon. Now the Chandrayaan spacecraft has to make four rounds of the moon and then it will prepare for landing when it reaches near the surface.

When will the moon landing happen?

Chandrayaan-3 mission is the third unmanned moon mission of India. With the completion of Lunar Orbit Insertion, the spacecraft has covered two-thirds of its distance to the moon. Now its next stop is soft landing on the surface of the Moon. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) told that the spacecraft is going to land on the lunar surface on 23 August. After separating from the propulsion, the lander will reach the surface and the rover will come out of it, so that scientific research can be done on the lunar surface.

What is the purpose of the mission?

The objective of the Chandrayaan-3 mission is to make a safe and soft landing on the lunar surface. After this, the rover will come out from the lander, which is going to revolve on the surface of the moon. It will be run on the rough surface of the moon. Under the mission, many experiments will be done on the surface of the moon itself.
